World War I (WWI) Iron Cross II class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse). Re-instituted by King Wilhelm II on 5 August 1914 for award during WW I. The second class medal was for award to personnel who performed a single act of bravery in combat. The cross has a three piece construction and has a magnetic core and silver frame. The cross is maker marked with a '' KO '' . The cross is complete with its original ribbon as found together .Nice original WW1 Iron Cross II Class .
